What is Giving DEISday?
#GivingDEISday is a celebration of all that makes Brandeis unique. It’s a day when we can all come together and give back in all ways, no matter who or where we are. As we have for the last seven years, when we reach 1,948 donors to Brandeis, it will unlock bonus funds for our students! 

How can I participate?

• Make your gift, which helps us get to 1,948 donors!
• Let your Brandeis network know about Giving DEISday by becoming an advocate!
• Come back to campus to celebrate Homecoming Weekend on October 7-9
• Share what you love - or miss! - most about Brandeis on social media using the hashtag #GivingDEISday

What will my gift support? 
Your gift to Brandeis can benefit any area of the university. We have special challenges with bonus funds up for grabs that you can track in real-time on leaderboards.

Why did you move this campaign from Giving Tuesday? 
Giving Tuesday was a great way to launch a crowdfunding campaign at Brandeis, but the day has become so overwhelmingly popular (a good thing, in general) that it makes it difficult for our message to be clearly heard by our alumni and supporters. To remedy this, we moved Giving DEISday to align with Homecoming at Brandeis, making for a unique Brandeis holiday that will amplify both messages!

Is there a minimum gift requirement? 
We ask that online gifts be $5 and up. Thank you for understanding!

Can I make my gift anonymously?
Of course! Select that option when you make your gift.

Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes! All gifts made to Brandeis University are tax-deductible.

Do you accept matching gifts?
Yes! If your company matches gifts, please send along the forms to us at givingdeisday@brandeis.edu and we will take care of the rest! Not sure if you work for a matching gift company? Find out by using our online search tool.

I'm having trouble donating. What do I do?

To give by mail, please send a check made payable to Brandeis University to 415 South Street MS126 Waltham, MA 02453. Note "Giving DEISday" in the memo section to be counted for the event.

To give by Donor Advised Fund or Charitable Trust call (781) 736-4000. 

I made a gift through bank transfer and didn't receive a receipt. What do I do?

First - thank you for your support of Brandeis! Next, we apologize for the confusion. The platform will send a confirmation in 1-3 business days and upon completion of the transfer from your bank. If you have any immediate questions, do reach out to givingdeisday@brandeis.edu.

Where do I make a gift in honor of someone?
Glad you asked! You will be prompted to do so as part of the post-giving process. Once you complete the transaction, you can let us know who it is in honor of!
