Cross Country / Track & Field

Thank you for considering a gift to the men’s and women’s cross country, track and field programs. Your support is crucial in helping us create an inclusive, well-equipped and unified team environment where we can grow not just as athletes, but as students, leaders, and future professionals. Donations to our program directly impact our ability to train, travel, and compete, and we will use donations from this year’s Giving Day for the following:

• Additional Team Travel: Funding to allow us to travel to elite national qualifying competitions for cross country and track and field. In the spring of 2025, we broke seven school records in travels to California and Illinois. This past fall, traveling to Pennsylvania was a major catalyst for our women earning the necessary at-large wins to advance to XC NCAAs as a team. Being able to attend similar events annually will give us the best opportunity to send the most athletes and teams possible to NCAAs each year.
• Competition gear and supplies: Enhancing our competition equipment beyond what our budget allows by purchasing new super spikes and shoes, with the goal to provide new pairs for each incoming student-athlete on the team.
• Technology: Investing in an advanced timing system for even more precise results to allow us to better analyze and understand our strengths and weaknesses and put us in the best possible position competitively.
• Recruiting support: Additional funding to go above and beyond with our recruiting efforts to bring the highest caliber students and athletes to Brandeis to compete on the cross country, track and field teams. Support in this area would allow us to send out additional mailings and conduct additional in person recruiting visits
