The Brandeis Intercultural Center (ICC) is dedicated to creating a haven of respect, education and celebration that fosters a welcoming community where diverse experiences and perspectives are valued, and dedication to the understanding of cultures and ethnicities is essential. The center is currently experiencing a strong rebound from the pandemic-induced lull of the 2020-2021 academic year. Compared to recent years, more Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian and international students are utilizing the center to study, gather, and simply be in community with one another.
With 16 cultural clubs and an expanding student body seeking to establish and affirm their presence on campus, there is a growing need to provide additional resources to support students personally, academically, and professionally. Overwhelmingly, students have testified to the importance of the ICC and have advocated for more resources to preserve, uplift, and strengthen the impact of the ICC on the overall student experience and the Brandeis community at large.
The ICC hosts many of the most attended events on campus and is at the forefront of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. General members of the Brandeis community have utilized the resources of the center as a springboard for campus-wide initiatives, including the university’s most recent anti-racism plan. With your support, the ICC is prepared to continue serving as an advocate and supportive network for historically marginalized students, while also working collaboratively with the university to create a welcoming environment of care, inclusion, and support for all.
We are excited about the future of the ICC and we want you to be a part of it. The ICC recently turned 31 and we want to celebrate that milestone on Giving DEISday. Make a gift of $31 or more to the ICC to benefit our students and ensure that our center continues to be a cultural hub, focused on intersectional and cross cultural connections.

Today begins our 48-hour giving challenge to support the future Brandeis Class of 2029 — and we need your help.
Right now, high school seniors across the country are deciding where to call home for the next four years, just like you once did. You made your choice — and now you can help them make theirs. Your gift to scholarships makes a Brandeis education accessible for more students.
And here’s the exciting part:
If 250 donors give to scholarships by tomorrow, May 1, it will unlock an additional $25,000 to further support the incoming Class of 2029 thanks to Stevie Rachmuth ’14.
Gifts of all sizes make a difference and help us reach our goal of 250 donors. Let’s make Brandeis home for the next generation. Thank you for supporting our students.
